What a lovely boutique! In addition to purchasing gifts, I also purchased items for myself. The company carries a large selection of gifts, clothing, jewelry, beauty products, oils, as well as natural supplements. They are very friendly and will assist you as much as you require in finding just the right gift or outfit. The experience of shopping was enjoyable and made even better by the sales that were prevalent throughout the store. It was a good deal!

My favorite place to shop in Logansport is Village Peddler. You can find wonderful gifts for special occasions as well as unique clothing for yourself at this store. Clothing is available in small to plus sizes. I can always find something that suits my tastes and budget.

Logansport France Park

It was my first visit and I was very satisfied. I think it is a good deal that the entry fee is only $5 per person. They offer a wide range of outdoor activities. Recreational activities include camping, mini-golf, playgrounds, fishing, biking, hiking, swimming, and scuba diving.

The hiking trails were excellent, and the beach swim area was enjoyable, although  a bit small. Parking is available in plenty. This is a great location for spending the weekend with family and friends.

As far as I saw, the only problem is that people leave so much trash on the trails that it looks like a landfill. Take it out if you bring it in! The people are disgusting and are trashing a beautiful area.

Cass County Dentzel Carousel

When we were traveling from Indiana to Pennsylvania, we saw this carousel along the way, so we stopped to see it, and I am glad that we did. A beautiful antique wooden carousel, complete with an operating band organ and a brass ring arm! A bit of living history, this ride is in excellent condition.

There is a small area where you can take a look at photos, learn about the carousel (some information can be found on the website), and purchase a nice variety of items to help with the maintenance, since the ride is only $1. For children, there is also a small train nearby. If you are traveling, please call or email ahead of time since the office hours may change due to COVID-19. Visit this machine if you are in the area, it is truly a beautiful machine. I hope you enjoy it.

The People’s Winery

The People’s Winery

One of the best and only wineries in Logansport and Cass County. The wine is  delightful, and the winery is surrounded by warm, beautiful, and friendly  people. It is a pleasure to do business with Stacie. Her and the rest of the excellent staff here are very welcoming and knowledgeable about choosing the best wines for your palate.

Also we could say one of the best restaurant in Indiana Thanks so much, Stacie.

It is for this reason that we will always recommend The People’s Winery to others.

The Cass County Historical Society is a non-profit, volunteer driven organization that collects, restores, preserves, stores, displays and shares documents, and artifacts that have to do specifically with Cass County, Indiana’s history or has a connection to it.

I was deeply impressed by the displays, ranging from the beautiful architectural design to the extensive collection of memories. I recommend spending a couple of hours there.
